Our Team

Dr. Emily Jiang is the Founder and Medical Director of Sano Health Club. She is a board-certified family physician who received her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Sano Health is her vision for what health care should be: a collaborative approach using the best of ancient wisdom and modern technology and merging it together to treat the whole person.

She believes in the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. This is something she learned at a young age when she witnessed how her own father healed from triple bypass surgery and diabetes. Radical changes to his lifestyle habits and a daily practice of qigong, an ancient Chinese practice that includes controlled movement and meditation, led to remarkable results and overall healing.

Dr. Emily completed her Family Medicine residency training in Chicago at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, focusing on women’s health. While there, she volunteered at the Chicago Women’s Health Center. Service to others and giving back to the community have always been important to her.

Kevin Jiang, MD is a double-board certified physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and the Co-Founder of Sano Health Club. Dr. Jiang is passionate about nutrition, movement, wellness, and the care of the whole individual.

Dr. Jiang graduated from Saint Louis University medical school, completed a general surgery internship at Rush University Medical Center, and did his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Loyola University in Chicago. He completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Dr. Jiang’s focus has always been to support his patients to look and feel like the best version of themselves. He takes a deep dive into their health from start to finish and incorporates techniques to produce long lasting, sustainable changes.

Outside of work, you can find him playing tennis or searching for new adventures such as hiking, camping, or traveling to new places.

Lorena Silva, BS, is a Certified Health Coach and Sano’s Patient Care Coordinator. She received her Bachelor’s in Biology and minor in Psychology from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

Interest in Functional Medicine and optimal health led Lorena to attain her Health Coaching credentials from Kresser Institute’s ADAPT Health Coaching Program. Instead of masking symptoms, a root-cause approach allows Lorena to take a holistic approach with long-lasting impacts on overall health.

She is passionate about helping others achieve their health goals and live a balanced life. She understands that each person is unique and should have an individualized diet and lifestyle plan.

You can find Lorena hiking or taking a yoga class on the weekends!

Jesenia Catt, BS, is a dedicated individual who strives to provide exceptional customer service to our members and has close to ten years experience in operations of a medical practice.

Jesenia values the importance of a positive and encouraging work environment that reflects in the care our members receive.

Out of the office, she spends her time outdoors with her family, serving at church, and learning new home improvement DIY skills.
